Circulai Limited is a UK-based waste management and environmental services provider operating across the UK, working with a network of approved suppliers and contractors.
Circulai Limited is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all aspects of our business and supply chains. We operate a zero-tolerance approach to slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking and expect the same high standards from all suppliers and partners. We will not knowingly enter, or continue, any business relationship with organisations involved in such practices.
We are committed to maintaining a respectful, fair, and non-discriminatory working environment for all.
Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, subcontractors, and business partners of Circulai Limited and covers all operations and supply chains.
Our Commitments
Circulai Limited will:
• Prohibit the use of child labour, forced labour, or compulsory labour in any part of our operations or supply chain.
• Promote transparency within our business and supplier relationships.
• Carry out appropriate, risk-based due diligence on suppliers and contractors, including during onboarding and contract renewal.
• Assess modern slavery risk by sector, geography, and service type and take appropriate mitigation action where risks are identified.
• Encourage openness and support whistleblowing without fear of retaliation.
• Investigate any concerns or allegations of modern slavery promptly and thoroughly.
• Refuse to work with, or disengage from, organisations found to be involved in modern slavery or human trafficking.
Responsibilities
The Board of Circulai Limited holds overall responsibility for ensuring compliance with this policy and for overseeing its effective implementation.
Training & Awareness
Relevant employees receive awareness training to help identify and report potential modern slavery and human trafficking risks.
Raising Concerns
Employees and third parties are encouraged to raise concerns about potential modern slavery issues at any stage of our business or supply chains. Reports may be made confidentially to a manager or directly to the Board.
Compliance
Any breach of this policy by an employee may result in disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal. Breaches by suppliers or contractors may result in termination of the business relationship.
Monitoring & Effectiveness
We monitor the effectiveness of this policy through supplier engagement, incident reporting, and periodic review.
Review & Approval
This policy is reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect changes in legislation, business activities, or risk exposure.
This statement has been approved by the Board of Circulai Limited.
